On Friday morning, we reached around 1 pm then checked in our rooms and then decided to pull out our checklist and cover the places we have marked around this place.
This was our checklist:
As Bhagsu was quite nearby to our stay so we decided to cover that and Shiva Cafe first. Shiva café is a really cool place to chill with friends or if you want some me-time then this place is a perfect pick. The interior of the café is really cool as they have used the minimal and basic stuff for décor. They also have the sitting area outside the café and the view is perfect to enjoy with your Garam chai or ginger lemon honey tea.
So, keeping all this in my mind I have opted for super comfortable clothes.
In the night I wore the same top on black maxi skirt with a denim jacket as it was bit cold in the night. Accidently I lost that footage and I carried this look to have dinner at the nearby cafe.
Look no 3:
On day 2 went out to cover monastery. I wanted to wear something traditional but I end up wearing a maxi dress in tie and dye print. It’s peaceful out here you can sit and practice meditation.
Look no. 4:
We went to St. John in the wilderness church and Dalai Lama temple which was located in the center of the city. The weather was really good so I wore a white shirt dress which has vertical lines all over and I have paired this with my Puma sports shoes as I had to walk a lot. We have heard a lot about Illiterati café so we end up going there after catching with these two places. I found this café very cute and well organized. I mean the interior was really good and the view is to die for! I was feeling like as if I am sitting in a cafe abroad and sipping my coffee, we clicked few photos and moved to visit Khaana Nirwana they were playing live music that night so for dinner and drinks we went there. We were lucky as we got the seats easily as it was houseful that night. Sitting on the rooftop with the amazing view (unfortunately, pics didn’t come out that nice) good music, good food and most important such good company what else do you wish for, we had such a blast that night.
Will plan a trip soon as the place is still unexplored by me. Lot of places to visit and a lot of things to capture. That’s it for today’s blog I really hope you like the ideas to dress up minimal yet trendy while you are on your lazy holiday mood. Your suggestions and ideas are appreciated so do write to me in the comment section. You can check out my look book of Jaipur and Rishikesh also.
You all must be familiar with the Westside ‘s Studio West – their beauty joint. If you are used to visiting Westside then you must have bought few things from the Studio West. It happened to me also, I tried their almost all the products and here I am listing down what you must buy from Studio West and what you should not.
Bath and body range:
You can buy their body lotions, shower gel, soaps, scrubs etc. Everything is good looking at prices of the products. You can blindly shop these products.2. Perfumes:
They have perfumes for male and female both. In this, they have a lot of fragrances and like I said earlier after wasting my money I have zeroed down to 2-3 items which are good for you. Females can try their Urban Muse, Maya while the males can try their Urban Spirit. These are the only fragrances which last for long hours. I have stocked my 3rd bottle of Muse and on me, fragrance stays for good 12 hours.
3. Lipsticks :
Don’t pick their Pure Passion collection, it doesn’t stay and keeps on smudging if you really want to pick a lipstick then go for Dynamite. This collection is really good with good lasting power. Opt for Dynamite collection for Nailpaints and lipsticks.4. Foundation :
Their foundations are really suitable for Indian skin tone, so you can pick from here only if you don’t find anything of your skin tone in Maybelline.
5. Eye Make-up:
You can opt for eye shadow palette and colored eye liners, they have really cool colors. Other than this do not go for mascara it doesn’t really do much to your eye lashes.
My take – you can go for fragrances (mainly EDP), bath and body products only.
Your search for Asian street foods in Noida will definitely end here! This week we explored a new place in Mall of India; Chi Asian Cookhouse. It’s located right next to Pitapit and opposite to Wendy’s. By looking at the lovely exterior, interiors with yellow hues you will feel like entering into this place. They have #LoveAtFirstSpice fest going on and that made us to try out this place!
We decided to try out their special menu curated with world’s most popular hot sauce “Sriracha”. Chi has combined Sriracha’s power-packed flavor with other elements to create a fuss-free yet drool-worthy food and drinks menu.
Here’s what we ordered: 1. Starters –
Sriracha corn soup and Sriracha chicken wings
2. Main course
-Sriracha skillet vegetables with rice
– Spicy watermelon bomb, mango rooster cooler This drink is actually a bomb!
The coating on the glass is of salt and chili flakes, on sipping this drink you will get the hint of heat which gets neutralized by the sweetness of mango, yum 🙂
– Fried ice cream with Sriracha chocolate sauce
My Take: This place should be on must visit list if you are a fan of Asian food. Their menu has a lot of Asian street food options. Keeping Indian taste buds in mind they have their special menu “Chindian” which is Asian dishes with added spiciness.
Ambiance: It’s wonderfully done, I am sure you are going to love it too. You can be here with your family and friends.
Rating – 4.5/5
