Is it worth buying Himalaya Pure Skin Neem Facial Kit?

Himalaya Neem Kit

I recently tried out the Himalaya pure skin neem facial kit which consisted of 3 products; purifying neem scrub, purifying neem face wash and purifying neem pack. I have normal to dry skin type and I generally don’t get acne but the change in weather always bring new guests (hint – a pimple). I gave this kit a try to fight rigid acne and pimple. Here’s the honest feedback of this product:

What does this kit include:

This kit has 3 products in it with clearly mentioned steps on the packaging which makes it very easy to follow the regime.

Himalaya Neem products

  • Step 1 – wash your face using Himalaya purifying face wash. It deep cleanses and removes the excess oil which helps in maintaining acne. Use it twice a day to clear out the skin. Apply it on your face and move it in the circular motion to make the lather and wash it off.
  • Step 2 – After cleaning the skin, it is time to scrub away the blackheads. This scrub is very mild making it easy for the sensitive skin and avoiding any irritation. Take scrub on your fingertips and using water apply it on your face and start gently scrubbing it. It helps in exfoliating blackheads and other rooted impurities. It is recommended to use it twice a week for clear problem-free skin
  • Step 3 – Last step is to apply face pack and it helps in closing the open pores caused by scrubbing, The consistency of the pack is very apt you can directly apply it from the tube. Use this twice a week for the clear and pure skin.
Cost of this Kit:

MRP mentioned on the kit was Rs.215 but the discounted cost was Rs 185

Pros:
  • Packaging is nice with well-written information and tagged products
  • Himalaya is a known brand so I knew I am not at a risk
  • It works but you have to use it regularly to notice the change
Cons:
  • It dried out my skin so I feel it will suit oily skin and that too in summers
My Take:

This product is great in managing oil and acne, it removes the excess oil and closes the open pores. It would work great on oily skin. I would put this to use in summers but not now. Please do not treat this as a medicinal product.
