Hot water destroys the moisture and texture of your hair, it takes away the natural oil. It is recommended to use warm or cool water to avoid damage and also you can keep washing your hair to a minimum, say two times a week, this will prevent your hair from drying out too much.
Just because it’s winter that doesn’t mean that you do not get your hair trimmed. Trims are a great way to keep your hair in good health during the winter months as well – every six to eight weeks, just get a light dusting of the ends to help reduce the chance of dry, splitting ends.
